About Me.
Hi there (again)! I’m Stella (24), a UX & UI designer based in Croatia. I hold a bachelor's degree in Market Communication Design, and I also studied at IADE University in Portugal, through an Erasmus exchange program.
I’m currently designing at Dibug d.o.o. where my focus is on crafting user-centered products, with one of the highlights being my contribution to a globally patented product in the IT industry. I also landed a competitive internship at Endava (formerly Five Agency), where I was one of just four designers selected from over 200 applicants. That experience taught me to value the guidance of mentors and to always reach for opportunities that feel just beyond my grasp.
In addition to UX & UI, I love diving into illustration, graphic design, and photography. While these skills enhance my design work, I enjoy using them to volunteer and make an impact beyond my professional projects. These experiences serve as a reminder of creativity's power to inspire positive change.

FAQs
What’s the first thing You do when starting a new project?
I grab my trusted notebook and sketch out random ideas (usually accompanied by doodles of my dog and cats for good luck).
How do You handle a creative block (besides more coffee)?
A long run usually clears the fog—other times I stare at my aquarium like it holds the answers to the universe. And sometimes I just break the task into smaller, manageable chunks—tiny wins make me creative :)
What’s Your Absolute favourite part of designing?
Turning pure chaos into clarity. There’s nothing more satisfying than taking a complex idea and shaping it into a clever, user-friendly design.
If Your life were a user interface, what would the home screen look like?
Clean and minimal—featuring my running app, pics of my pets or a cool looking tree, and a shortcut to my family group chat.
How do You Handle feedback when designing?
I soak up the constructive bits (along with some ice cream) and refine my designs. I’ve learned that the best ideas often come from bouncing thoughts around, and it only takes one to shift my perspective and make all the difference.
What’s One Piece Of Advice That Helped You On Your Journey?
Don’t fall in love with your first idea—it’s the 10th one that usually holds the magic.
